4 weeks until 2026
We wrote a two guides for you to get through it

December hits, and suddenly the end of the year feels very real.
Projects are wrapping. Calendars are packed. Everyone is doing that mental math of, “Wait… how many weeks do we actually have left?”
This is the moment in time that most people intend to reflect… and then push it to the last possible second. You know the drill. It is December 20. You are in a rushed one-on-one and you hear yourself say, “So… what are your goals for next year?”
That is not reflection. That is a pop quiz that at best feels performative.
If we actually want those year-end conversations to matter, we need to treat them like a practice, not an afterthought. So we wrote two guides to help you do a great job.
The first guide is all about self-reflection. Think of it as the foundation—the part that happens before the formal review. It's designed to help people (including you) actually process the year instead of just racing through it.
This one works beautifully in offsite settings where you want to create space for real thinking. But it's just as powerful in a quieter one-on-one, or even on your own. The prompts walk through four key stages: checking in on where you are now, reflecting on progress and what's been helpful, aligning on what success looks like going forward, and identifying concrete actions to start the new year strong.
Use it when you want depth, not just data. When you want someone to leave the conversation feeling clearer.
Grab it and download the full version and unlock actionable reflection questions.

The second guide is your year-in-review framework. This is the more structured, tangible tool—built specifically for wrapping up the year in one-on-ones. It's what turns "So, how was your year?" into a conversation that actually lands.
This guide helps you celebrate wins, name challenges, capture learning, and set intentions for what's next. It's especially useful for managers who want to lead these conversations with care and consistency, but don't want to reinvent the wheel every time. Think of it as your roadmap for closing the year with clarity and purpose—so no one walks away wondering what just happened.
Download both. Use them together, or pick the one that fits your moment. Either way, you'll be setting yourself (and your team) up for a year-end that actually feels meaningful.
Happy December and Happy Mentorship!
